I made this small chest of drawers a few years ago as a little side project. I thought I might use it to store my hand tools, but eventually decided to let it go to a new home. The case is poplar lumber core with mahogany veneer in a “seagrass” figure. The top is crotch mahogany and the banding is holly, dyed pear, and figured maple. The keyhole escutcheons are ivory. The drawers and shiplap back are white pine.
